do they make any kind of lip kits for the del sol ... if so post a pic. i haven't seen any

 

nope, not really. do what i did and put a 92-95 civic coupe lip on your del sol.

 

you could always do a 99-00 civic front end conversion.

 

92 - 95 civ coupe lips fit on del sols .... awsome. i didn't know that.

 

the 92-95 civics KIND OF fit, they arent flush by any means, but its the best u can get for the $ besides an aftermarket front end

 

which lip's do you personally think look good

 

what if you molded the lip onto the del sol front bumper ??

This is the civic lip on my Del Sol getting to work was pretty easy jsut a few screws and little bit of Dremeling and it was on.

all i can say is do not buy a 92-95 coupe/sedan lip. alot of people say there is fitment between the 2 cars, but i would disagree. i purchased an ABS plastic type-R lip for a 92-95 civic to put on my del sol... what do you know? does not fit for ****. an inch (mayb more) too short at least but some are luckier than others. get the one for your car; it will make your life easier.

 

ive have seen 92-95 civic lips put on a del sol with minor mods to it but that about it

The problem is no one makes any lip kits for del sols, which is the whole point of this thread.

 

could someone show pics and do a write up and how to put a 92-95 civic lip on a del sol

i don't know about entire "lip kits" but i know they do sell front bumper lips especially made for a del sol... because i bought 1.

all that fabricating crap is going to ruin your lip. and fiberglass/bondo does not work to well on flexible material.

I have the 92-95 civic lip.. it took many a drywall screw, but it fits almost perfectly:

I'm pretty sure the new front end on 96-97 causes the 92-95 lip to not fit - or at least I couldn't make it line up worth a damn.

 

I agree... Mines didn't fit at all... I'm going to try the 99-00 lip... From what I've heard from owners... the lip does fit way better... Mugen Style lip that is...
