i finally did it.. J's Racing STYLE Intake > 2nd gen.
quick write-up. uh, yeah. i got it on. took a few jostling the A/C thingy (i moved it down - left of the distributor) and the brake valves(?) - picture below - then it slid right into place. oh yes, a smaller, 10.8lbs hawker battery also helps this, unless you want to relocate your heavy 30lbs gut somewhere else. (pictures of the final, complete project to come)

i agree. but water is ICE COLDD in the wintertime so i'm leaving her dirty for just a little bit.
i forget exactly where i got it.. off the internet. it was like $60 shipped or something.. the receipt's in my car, but i just woke up so i'll go out there later and get it.
i've got a vid coming too of me on the pa turnpike.. but that'll get to me as soon as Raunch gets his *** up and sends it to me! damn it!
happy 2004 ya'll.

Looks way ugly...sorry. Was the stock piece that bad. I like how my stock intake looks...
I toyed with the idea of putting a stock EG or DC2 intake set up in my DA, but the A/C hoses are a real pain in the *** to work around. The DC2 box almost bolts up, though...

Nice job!!!
How do you connect those other small vacume lines? Are you using the conector from the stock intake and holding it w/ epoxy or something? Or did you actually thread something else in there and coneect the lines to that?

they're just chillin' for right now. i have not touched them YET. i plan on getting a T fitting because there are two lines (from the valve cover and from the throttle body) and only one hole in the BLUE WHALE.
