exhaust

Default exhaust

I just installed a na muffler with 2 1/4" pipe on my 88 crx with dohc zc, eliminated the resignator and kept the cat its hella old. But at like 35 mph or when downshifting the exhuast kinda pops and stuff.

What can I do to elminate that

the popping is the all-too common rich condition, with a free flowing exhaust you hear it.
mine scares old ladies driving next to me in traffic....roarrr...upshift...roar...neutral, clutch in, blip the throttle, POP!!!, downshift, roar...coasting, POP!... slowing down, pop... gurlgle gurgle pop...you get the picture a cat and a resonator will not help. a chambered muffler will

LMAO... but really thats all its gonna take for my car to go back to sounding normal cool so once i stop running straight pipe without the muff i get my nice quiet(at least i hope it is) car back.
