Default How to identify real 96-98 CTR headlights??

I just got my CTR headlights in for the 96-98 civic hatch and was wondering if there was anyway to make sure they are genuine. They came in the honda box and have the city light, but was wondering for a sure way to determine if they are original. TIA

They will have a city light, they will say HONDA and Stanley on them, and they will have a tinted/gunmetalish finish on the housings.

You can tell mine are fake because they have none of the above. Plus they were only $165. God bless Newman!

the real ctr lights also do not have the little shields that cover the headlight bulb.

ok thanks guys. I will check the lights ASAP. I am sure they are real. I will check them when I get to the shop on Friday. I just wanted to check before the body shop picks them up and installs them. They are from VIS racing and cost about $500 so they better be real. On another note, VIS really knows how to pack their products. The headlights could have been dropped out of a plane and I don't think they would break. to VIS for awesome packing.
