Hey guys, i got an LS motor, and i just got the DC Sports 4-2-1 ceramic coated header for $270...tell me thats not the best price u heard of...if u want details let me know ill hook u up...but anyways, whats your insights on that header....

um thats not that great, stainless steel greddy headers are just a little more

 

stainless steel is a good amout more money. can u hook me up. and was it brand new?

I bought one brand new 3 years ago for $255 shipped so I would say......not the "best" price.

 

i have a dc4 and just intalled my ceramic header. it's great! and about the cracking issue, i talked to a guy who's had a lot of experience with them and he said that you'd have to be pretty dumb to scrape the header. but he also added that banging it can weaken the welds and that's probably how it cracks. i am a bit paranoid myself because i noticed i had a dent in my stock header when i installed my new one. i think that happened one time when i didn't see a bump in the road. but i do feel a little safer with this header because it seems to hang a little higher than stock. and i understand that it is pretty difficult to scrape the header because you should probably scrape the bumper before anything else.

the DC JDM which costs more and performs better can be had for under $300

 

maybe he didnt want the bigger collector size

no thats not the best price i seen thats not even a good price that like a normal price
e bay sells the cheep as dc ceramic headers buy it now for $235 all the time

i got my dc ss header used from recycler for $100

 

i got an ls and paid $75 for dc 4-2-1 from One 6 in IL.... they were used of course... its still a good deal...
