Default Clutch Question (First time replacing clutch on my own)

I need to know how many foot pounds of torque to put on the pressure plate on a stock 88 crx si d16a6 and how important is it to have the flywheel resurfaced and also how much torque on those bolts

Flywheel resurfacing isnt necessary unless the flywheel is scored or damaged, but its allways a good idea.

I believe the flywheel bolts are something like 45 ft-lbs and the pressure plate bolts are 18 ft-lbs.

But those are just from memeory, look it up in a shop manual online

MAKE SURE TO USE A 12 sided socket on those bolts

From the 1988 manual
flywheel=87 lb-ft
clutch cover/pressure plate=19 lbs-ft

Do surface the flywheel while you have it out..
that way you won't have any regrets...
