no rattling on mine. i suggest you check to see the exhaust is not hitting the car/swaybar/ etc. i had to tweak the mounting brackets a little to get the canister away from the body of my car.

Yes, I have a vibration/rattle @ exactly 1500 rpms (especially when cold). I'm not sure if it is coming from the cat area of the rear of the car (I think it is up near the cat, but it is NOT the cat).
See here for more info:

I've backed off the bolts that connect the cat to the header (with the springs) to give the springs more play to do their job and this seemed to help a bit. I may back them off a bit more and see what happens....
I've checked hangers and heatshields and haven't found the culprit yet...

im running spoon header/carsound cat
the thing is...the only difference that was made before the vibration started happening was the fujitsubo rm01. so i highly doubt it could be anything to do with the header/cat. im 90% sure its something with the hangers or cat-back itself. its not really bad at all..it can just be annoying in the morning when i start my car.

If the Spoon header is a JDM length...
Carsound doesn't make a small enough cat ergo...
you had to cut the RM-01A about 7" to make the whole setup fit...
So, Yes, there probably is some rattling somewhere in the rear "axle" area, or anywhere the exhaust may contact the car body.
This is ofcourse assuming you've removed all those pesky stock heatshields.

2.5" exhausts are obviously a bit larger and require more room. I have a T1R setup (similar to the RM-01) and had the same problem. The protrusion of the flanges, not the piping, are usually the culprit that's touching. You don't need to remove the heatshield, you can also bend them back or use a dremel to modify. Pinpoint the problem while the car is on jacks then start modifying. Most of the time, the vibration is around the middle where the B-pipe ends.
the fuji is not a 2.5 inch exhaust system. It was designed to go with a JDM cat. I had to take mine in and get it cut to accomidate the USDM cat. I have to now take it in to cut it to fit with the comptech race header...
wont a jdm cat need a jdm length manifold or is u.s and jdm manifold the same length ?
my fuji is for the ek9 but i have ek9 manifold and exhaust fitted perfect on my ek hatch. cat was only problem.

See if you can make it vibrate just by revving it a little standing still. If so, just get a broom handle or something and touch the exhaust in different areas. Nothing to loose.
