Default Radiator leak??

Well I think my Integra is leaking from the radiator. On top of the radiator seems to be wet all the time. Turned on my engine today and took a look under the hood and found some green coolant splashed around on my engine. It doesn't look to bad though... I went out and bought some radiator sealent stuff and i was just wondering if it really works. I'm gonna change all of my fluids on thursday and i'm gonna use this sealant. just wanted to know if anyone had any luck with it. thanks

If you have an OEM radiator with a plastic top, then sealing it won't do much. It will eventually leak again. Honda/Acura radiators are notorius for cracking at around the 100K mile mark. Just replace your radiator. You can get a cheap replacement at http://www.radiators.com . However, you could also spend more money and get an all metal one.

I just used radiator stop leak on mine 'bout a week ago & it's been working like a champ!!! Leak was really bad, too ... Still gonna get an all metal rad. one day, though ... Wouldn't be able to fit a G3 Teggie rad into my G2, would I?

I used the stop leak stuff on my last car right before I sold it

it worked great but I'm not sure about the long term effects of it on your coolent system and if it'll leave deposits or mess up your pump in the long term

but for the short term if you flush it I think it'd be ok

good luck
