You are going to buy a new car just to learn how to drive stick. It took me about a day to learn. My mom just made me go out in the streets and get honked at and cut off. Made me learn fast. I would never stall my problem was wheel spin. I would give it too much gas and jump off the clutch. It was a real embarassing experience.
Just get whatever car you want. Trust me you wont mess it up because it is YOUR car. I learned how to drive in my first car (a 2000 civic si) and never had any transmission problems.

Either persuade one of your friends to teach you on their car, or just learn when you get your own. I had never driven stick until I got my car, took my a total of an hour to learn on backroads and such with no traffic.
You just need to get the hang of it, and timing when shifting and clutching down. It only took me a day or two. You should just get the integra. Integras and civics are like the easiest to drive manually.
well took me half a day to get the hang of it. The car jumped and stalled many times and it was embarrasing with all of those people around my neighborhood looking at me, but i got use to it. I think i might have messed up something in the car though... took me about 2 more days to get smoother. I've only had my LS for about 3 weeks and i'm still not that smooth yet when shifting.
i say jus try to get a friend that has a shitty stick car to teach you. my friend took me out several times in his fucked up LS so when i get my GSR i had a good idea of how to drive it. takes less than a day if you know the principles of drivin stick.

i learned on my ex gf's civic, but when i drove the gsr it was quite a change...just learn the basics, then polish what you've learned on your new car
when forced into the situation, you will learn
