how much are 98-01 teg tail lights worth?
i have been trying to get some, and just wondering what is a resonable price for 98-01 taillights, i know someone who is selling a set of 01 taillights that are in near perfect condition for 120, is this a good deal? thx

I got a nearly new pair of pre '98 taillights for my '01 GSR (prefer amber turn signals) for about $50 and sold my all red taillights for $200 on eBay. The asking price of $120 sounds reasonable if they are like new with no cracks or scratches.

Average price that I saw when I was pricing them out was about $130-170. I was lucky and bought them from some guy for $115 shipped.

Average price used to be $150 shipped if in good condition
But lately ive seen them drop in price $ 120 is reasonable
Just a tip: Best method to aquire these 98+ oem tails is find a ricer with altezzas and i garuntee they will sell them for cheap

On 94-97 the outer part is a darker red than the actual part that lights up, while ono 98-01 I think it's all the same color red, so the outer edges of the taillights wouldn't match if you did that.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The best place to find these parts is the classified section on this forum. I've been waiting to replace my taillights, however I still can't decide if all reds will look good on my white teg
