you're gonna have to run low nines to win this shootout, we might have a car but not sure if the octane is sufficient, we are used to sunoco 94 in Canada

theres a pic in the new hot rod, the first entry is a 357 turbo mustang that runs 9.90's, it says he's building a 408 with more boost for the event. good luck running anywhere near there in a pump gas fwd honda

a local just swapped his TT 8 second mustang with a new even more built single turbo that is like, 100 something mm's. it's MASSIVE... and running a DFI, hehe

pump gas means you can pretty much count out any of the supras or rx7's as well, no efantis to show up the v8 boys like he did at the drag radial shootout.

I know a Honda would have no chance of winning, but to see a couple in there would be cool.
They recently did a comparison of the Sti vs. the Cobra and they actually picked the Sti, I think they are getting more accepting of imported cars

we have a texaco with 110 pump... doubt that counts though.

the gas is provided by the event i believe. everyone uses the same exact gas. i think 93 octane. plus, there isn't a tire made yet that would get a fwd street car on pump gas into the 10's......much less the 9's.
