Default H22 TB on D15B7

Is it possible to put an H22 TB on a D15B7 IM? If any mods are needed, what are they?

You might need to exchange the throttle wheel where the cable attaches to the T-body. Of course the intake tube will need to be changed.

Uhhh...for better throttle response? Does that sound like a good answer?

Actually, if you don't port match your IM you won't get any improvement.

umm not worth it. that motor is crap IMHO. even if you port match it to the intake manifold you wont even tell a diffeence. not a damn difference. useless MOD. should save your money and effort for better things. like posibly a D16z6???? maybe just maybe this would be way better. i think this motor might respond to a bigger throttle body than that d15b7 would. if it really does anything.

IMHO it's not a bad engine at all. I don't say it just because I drive it. I'm keeping up with this kid I know with a b16 in a CRX with a few other small mods (i/e/tb). Of course he doesn't know half the **** he thinks he does...including driving. If I'm going to do an engine swap it will be the entire H22. Know what I'm sayin'? Thanks for the input though.

D16Z6 or D16Y8 if you want to stay SOHC. Also, I have a brand new Edlebrock BBK 62MM Polished TB up for grabs. I paid $300 and never used it.
