Default My car is blowing black sute, not smoke out of exhuast, help please?

Well the past week my car has been spitting black sute, not smoke, out of the exhaust, mainly when i start in up in the mornings, but it does it all day just not as bad. It smells like its running rich but i have not clue how to even determine the problem, im new to honda, i just work on old school volkswagen's. So if anyone could give me an idea of whats wrond and how to fix it, you would save me alot of time and money, thanks.

black stuff ..lol... is running rich, white stuff is oil burning. If its actuall black goo then its prolly condensation mixed with carbon deposits spewing out the tail pipe.

im not totally dumb, i know it running rich, but when i say black sute i mean it. It left a 2 ft by 1ft dark *** spot in driveway this morning. And my main question is what i do to fix the problem, i dont know how to adjust the mixture.

I've never heard of running rich to actually leave soot like your describing. Usually it just dissapates into the air. It sounds to me like you've got an *** load of buildup in your exhaust. Possibly a very dirty cat.

it is most likely condensation. or water in your exhaust, and then it turns black because of the exhaust fumes. go run your car on the highway so it cleans out your pipes and drys it out. see if that helps at all.

Well i had a friend follow me and it is blowing some smoke, only when i get on it, and today it started to overheat some, so i stopped waited a bit checked my radiator, it was like less than half full or more, it took alot of water to fill it, but the weird thing is i dont have any water buildup in my oil, my oil would show if i was leaking water into it. So i dont know, im not leaking any water or fluid from radiator, so i must be burning the water right? but if i am buning water how come when i check my dipstick it dosnt show any traces or water? Well im confused and i dont even know where to start, maybe i just need a rebuild or a new motor, who know, help me if you can, thanks

Wes

Blue = oil
White = coolant
