Here you go dogg, The TDCM is the ground for the TDC sensor and doesnt put out a signal..

Wire your VAFC2 to the TDCP... its wire #20 on ECM connector C (31pin), green of color.

I just finished wiring mine on my '01. LATE

Yea i dont know why the booklet doesnt show where to wire that up to. I put my VAFCII in a couple weeks ago and ran into the same problems. Let me know if you need more help I'll try to give some insight.
