Default make my integra fast

Hey guys, this might sound kinda stupid, but i have a 91 integra ls AUTOMATIC that i wanna make pretty fast without engine swaps or a 5spd. I already have an AEM CAI and an exhaust, and it does about a 16.25 1/4 mile (which sucks ***). Ive been looking at the Venom400 Performance Module, DC 4-2-1 Headers, and a Skunk2 Intake Manifold because they seem like the most power for the least amount of money. Any suggestions???

Only way to get "big bangs from the bucks" is to buy yourself a turbo kit or nos.

find se-37k on this forum or g2ic.com
he has done quite a bit of engine work, but i think he is reaching the limits.
also, a level 10 torque converter will help your trans hold up to alot of modding, such as turbo. otherwise, you can do the same internal mods as any other b18a/b. but you will become limited at a certain point before the trans. can't take anymore.
g2ic is a site dedicated to the gen2 integras. you'll find more info that will help you.

Venom400 = big waste of $$

buy a used nitrous kit then...your not gonna hit a mid/low 15 with 350-400 worth of mods unless you are going the nitrous route..a 50 shot in a 5 speed b18b can hit low low 14s ..ive even heard as low as a high 13 ..but being that you are automatic you could probly hit a low 15-high 14 with a 50 shot....nitrous can be VERY effective if used properly. Ive been through 9 or so refills within 3 months..and my engine is still perfect (190 psi compression straight across) It was 190 across before i started spraying too..so yea, i would highly reccomend nitrous.

Don't expect much from the common bolt-on parts. They will yeild minimal results in the quarter mile. (minimal in my opinion) . the cheapest thing you could do is completely gut your car. thats free. just go buy a big muffler to fart around in until you save enough money to really build up your car. don't be ghetto with your ride. unless you really want to. in that case, cut your springs, buy a cherry bomb from Pep Boys, a red air fiter, chrome headers, big spolier, and clear tail lights. that way you can look the part of the street racer. seriouly though, to make your car into a quality fast ride, you would need a couple thousand.

in most cases, the faster you want to go, the more money you have to spend.

sorry newb, just tired of these post.

cant anything serious like that will ruin the tranny. That OE torque converter cannot handle ****.

I highly suggest you sell your car for something with a 5sp tranny if you want to modd it. ANYTHING will do. Hatch or something.

I had a friend with an old Nissan nx2000 or whatever they we called and he used to rev it to the limiter and slam it into drive. Those were some pretty impressive burnouts! Of course he did it about 7 times and the tranny blew up! LOL

IMO your better off saving your $ and putting it elsewhere.

An automatic Ls, that runs 16's right now as yourself is it really worth modding?

I mean you already said you dont have the $ to go turbo, nor will your tranny be able to hold the power. Bolt ons wont do **** but put you in debt and your car will still be slow. Your only option is maybe some Nos, header, and weight reduction

Sad thing is even with that your car will stil be slow (15's)

Not tryign to be negative, only speaking from experience my first car was a 91 ls automatic.....so i know how slow it is. On my newer cars Ive been thru Nos, Supercharger, and finally went Turbo.... Ive sent thousand and thosuands of dollars in this game on mistakes and trust me they hurt.

seriously weight reduction.... take out the back seats scrape all the sound deading tar out from underneath the enitre carpet. Dash mats.....etc so many possible options.... if you want to take out the headliner carpet floor mats door panels center counsole glovebox etc sit all weighs something and it is cheap.. doesn't looke the greatest but it helps@!

Nitrous is your best bet for an auto. 300-400 bucks that gets you 30-50hp.
