Clutch (pedal) noise/vibration?
Driving around today I noticed that when pressing the clutch, at the final 1/2 inch or so before it hits the floor, there is a noise and vibration in the clutch. The pedal vibrates/shudders, and the noise is sort or a "KRAAAT". It only vibrates and makes this noise right before the pedal hits the floor, and only while pushing it in. Also, it does it in any gear, engine on or off. There doesn't seem to be any difference in the engagement of the clutch or how it grabs, yet it makes the noise and vibration.
The car is a 1990 Civic Si. I've had it for about 2 months, and it is my first manual, so I learned on this car. I have records for everything on this car(the guy had the dealer change his wipers) except for the clutch, and the guy can't remember if and when it was changed. There is a possibility it might have been changed around 30,000 miles, but the car now has 125,000.
Any ideas?
