Default d16y7 idel problems

First to start this problem has been going on for like 2-3 years now but its driving me nuts, and i have not found a shop yet that has found a problem. My car idels irraticly around the 5000 rpm range. My shifter vibrates like crazy also because of this. It has nothing to do with adjusting the timing or idel screw as i have been told. Now i had a shaddy shop tell me my throttle body is very dirty and needs to be clean. Could that be causing the issue? But the thing is this was happening long before i was told that. I have already had it cleaned before. My motor only has 45000 miles. My only major mods are intake, headers, and exhaust. Any suggestions on how to figure out whats causing this? Maybe i should just swap for a y8 intake manifold, maybe that will help.

your car idles at 5000? damn thats pretty high, i would suggest playing with the throttle cable, or cleaning out the dirty iacv screen

yo, mine too, idle screw doesn't work either, i changed out all ignition components and nothing. Some have told me to deal w/it and some say to clean out the IACV but i haven't got around to that yet. the damm **** is annoying too i have 60k miles.

if you guys are feeling vibrations at idle it could be some sort of internal engine problem, an IACV problem will just fluctuate the idle up and down and may cause hesitation around certain rpm's when given gas

well when i give it some gas up to 750 rpms ( the normal idle speed) it stops vibrating. So i think either a fuel problem or the shop told me to change out my O2 sensors.
