Something is seriously wrong with my car.If you have heard of wrx passing by or have been in one thats what it sounds like.I turned on my car after work to the sound of a rumble which i never heard off ever.It sounded like my car wasnt getting enough juice and was running on 3 cylinders.So finally everything is back to normal and i drive home.Now 5 minutes ago my mother asked me to go to the store.I turn on my car and that rumble is back but its very bad like my car is going to die.I rev the engine a little bit and a big cloud of smoke comes out of my tailpipe.Does anyone know what is wrong or has heard of this? i dont know what to do.I checked spark plugs and everything to see if it was in running order.

 

what color smoke?? And you said you checked everyhting, but no CELs??

Check the wires and make sure they are in the proper firing order....only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

 

Can it be that his cat is clogged? Do you bottom out a lot with your car?

 

Sorry i didnt provide enough info.The smoke is white and its not throwing an cels and the tempature guage is way over the H.Car does not bottom out.

 

Headgasket....

 

Im not very knowledgeable about hondas but im trying to learn.The headgasket is that sheet thats between the two blocks correct.Is it expensive?

 

Yes...and when it goes its usual sign is that white smoke coming out your exhaust. Happened to me before my old..old..old...motor blew. Don't drive it anymore and try and compression test it.
EDIT: Not expensive to replace unless you can't do it.

 

what would cause the headgasket to do this all of a sudden?

 

Overheating...just driving the **** out of the car. Could have been quite a few things. High mileage also.

 

i would say headgasket also but for my car the crank sensor inside the dizzy died which caused my car to sound like a wrx because it wasnt firing at the right time it had all your symptoms but no overheating

you have a misfire...my friend has the same problem...hottest sounding car in the world...he melted his 2nd cylinder.
