Lightweight 14" rims?
Does anyone make any affordable yet lightweight rims for Civics?
I've had a hard time finding anything.
I would like to get HX rims, but they aren't available in Canada.

http://www.tirerack.com they have 15" Kosei K1 racing, 13.5lb....I know you said 14 but hey, theyre not bad.
BMW 3 series bottlecap rims are good. made em for many years so theres lots around of various age and condition and price.
miata rims work as well but need to be bored a bit to fit.
not many aftermarket rims that come in 14" unless you get racing wheels which really arent cheap nor suitable for street.

That sucks. I'd really like to stick with 14" because I really don't need anything bigger.
Maybe I'll find someone that will ship me a set of HX wheels for a decent price. I e-mailed a bunch of junk yards on that, but none of them would ship to me.

How far are you from New York..or even Detroit? Or are there ferries across Lake Erie?
Find a junkyard with them (http://www.car-part.com) and take a day trip.

Interesting... I've never looked at these rims. They are 11.75 lbs compared to 17 lbs for the CRX. They are also 14X5.5 instead of 14X5 for the CRX. Would the weight reduction be noticeable? They aren't too bad looking.
