Default 90 DA problem.....

I tried posting this in the Integra forum but got not so good answers....hoping maybe this can get resolved in here...

90 integra is almost the same as a EF as their both OBD0 so please dont move this over to the Teg Forum...

Car is a 90 DA M/T GS Stock stock stock

Driving along the car just turns off....CEL....wont start again.... i leave the key in the on position.... after the car comes to a complete stop i smell gas.....then a minute later i see gas... commin outta the intake ....i take the key out....and its still commin out...my guess is from built up fuel pressure....which is fine.... I try turnin it over again and it wont even crank for more than 1 second......

Get it home and find the cylinders are full of gasoline... turn it over with no plugs and dizzy disconnected to avoid the sparks.... put it all back together and were fine for a week....

Im drivin again and same thing happens.....except i turn the key to the off position and wait a couple of seconds.... i pop the hood and sure enough...gas outta the intake again.....

i get in...turn on and crank....it wont start up unless i give it full throttle.....it stumbles a little but comes back to life and runs fine....

the above scenario has happened to me about 4 times in the last 3 days....i cant pin down a certain action that i do that makes it behave this way....its happened on the freeway, driving through the neighborhood, normal driving....

Ive racked my brain and the helms doesnt say anything about this happening so thats out the window....

Somethin is causin this and im gonna guess its somethin electrical...since it can be reset with the key going on/off...

I was thinking ECU, injector resistor box possibly..

Before i start throwing parts at it..... any suggestions?

HeY Daniel,
Check the coolant temp sensor and its plug for corrosion..
I have seen that cause a flood condition before..

Quote: The pulse width of the fuel injectors is determined by the coolant temp sensor. (TW sensor). This sensor also has a direct effect on fuel consumption.

PS>What code are you getting?
