Default need lowering advice please! 1988 crx hf...

i made a thread earlier but i think this fits the advice i need more. well anyways...i want my car to be pretty damn slammed. no need to flame but yeah...its just my personal preference i guess. well i was doing a search and i saw the bee guy's crx and it was sitting nice on sprint extreme rx springs. i was going to get those but my crx that i have(88 crx hf) weights much less than his(i think he has an si?) soyeah...i'm assuming my car would still have some wheel gap and i would really like it to be at least tucked! cause i had some neuspeed race springs on my car and it only lowered it 1 inch and yes i did buy the right ones and installed them properly! then i switched to some cheap coil overs and it was pretty slammed but not the 3 inches the box said it could be adjusted to! so yeah...i might still try out these sprint extreme rx springs but if they won't slam my car how i want it them why spend $175 on them yanno! well yeah any advice is appreciated! thanks

i just don't want any fender gap and with the coil overs i had(obx) and on the lowest setting it still wasn't as low as i wanted it. on the hatch i just sold...i had skunk2 coil overs with tokio hp shocks and it was on the lowest setting for the coil overs but the tires still weren't tucked! i guess i'll just try the sprint extremes and see if i achieve my life long goal to be dumped! haha j\k! is there anyway that the sprint extremes would lower my hf crx more than some 3" drop generic coil overs?

if you want preformance then get some real coilovers not sleeves, if you wanna be "slammed" cut your springs

keep the neuspeeds .. you can cut many coils off the neuspeeds and still have a excellent ride. i would start off just cutting a few untill you get a ride height that you are satisfied with. heres mine on cut neuspeeds.

those are 50 series tires.. so if you have bigger you will be for sure tucking.

Hey,

here's a picture from my adjustable suspension. It sells around 750$ here in germany...

4" should be possible @front and more than 3" @back

Dropped mine 3.5" at the front and 2,5" at the back I think .
