Has this ever happened to your car?
I went out to run some errands early, ran inside, came back out in 20 secs, tried to turn the car over but it wouldnt start..? Turned it over again, and the car almost turned but died in a sickening squeal. Turned it over once more, and it just made the turning over noise but wouldnt start. It started fine after that..
Did this ever happen to anyone? this is probably my third time experience this. Was i driving too hard and didnt let the engine cool down before shutdown?

The closest thing I have to your situation is when the starter seems to turn a few times before it starts. However, it always manages to start. This usually only happens when I am low on fuel.

when i had my accord it happened to me because i was a dumb *** and ran a 1000 watt amp incorrectly and drained the battery and alternator lol
Thats happen to me a few times, with a full or low tank of gas. I now turn the key 2 clicks and let the fuel pump prime. works everytime. I learned this when went to Vegas and left the car in the garage for 3 days. On the fourth day I tried to start the car about 4 times and would not start. i let the fuel pump prime for 30 sec to a minute no joke and worked fine. Could this be a fuel pump issue??
Acura themselves say that these cars do not fire up as fast as even a GSR, let alone other honda's... I'm almost always having to hit my key again cause I stop cranking when I THINK it's gonna start... Fools me time after time...
It has happened to me several times this summer..Thank goodness nobody was around cause it would of been embarassing having ignition problem with a brand NEW car...Man, was I scared...After reading around honda-tech and gathering some info, I'm still clueless about this...I just did what others say, which is just let it prime first then start it..Works everytime, as of yet...But I LOVE my ITR too much that this doesn't really concern me much
my uncle had a problem with his 99 civic Aerodeck, the car wouldnt start, and it was because of problems with the ECU or something like that, it rejected the chip in the key..
