Default mini me question

Hey this is my 1st post so hi.

I have been toying with the thought of doing a mini-me set up with me 1995 CX HB. Does anyone know all of the components i will need to get?? Also does anyone have any guides or resources i can look at to see what i am getting into. Any help is greatly appreciated. I beleive my stock engine is D15B but i am not 100% sure on it. Too cold to check now.

Thanks alot guys

You can find everything you need for 300.00 in the classifides section if you look hard enough.

the cx is a 8valve head and the earlier model's pistons only have indents for 8 valves on them instead of 16. i believe that some of the 94s and on had the 16 vavle pistons already installed. you should be able to do the complete swap for about 250-400 depending on how good you are at searching for parts(little **** will add up)......... or if you are lucky you might be able to save up a little extra money and search around and find a complete d16z6 swap with tranny because the gearing is way better than your cx. plus the d16 has a little broader market for internals if you were to build it for boost or whatever. good luck

^VERY good point. I should add that the CX transmission is complete garbage (I stated this in my thread) and that your car will probably still be slower than a DX with the mini-me. Either get both the Z6 head and transmission or get the whole swap...regardless of what you you'll still be slow if you keep that tranny on. Good luck.
