what will happen when replacing pistons and rods but never replace the main bearings? let say your car was 150,000 miles what is the pit fall of not changing the main bearings? thanx..

 

the bearings can eventually wear out, causing the crank to become off balanced, making it dizzy and pissing it off, then one day while the car is parked the crank jumps out of the motor, smashes the windshield and crashes your car into a nearby zoo to throw crap at monkeys.

 

just dont do it
since your changing pistons might as well change all the bearings

 

change one, you might as well change all!... do it right the first time...
