Default idle rpm question

i have a jdm itr motor and it idle at 1000 rpm, and i asked people and they said normal is at 800 rpm...
obviously the motor has higher rpm than normal during idle

i tried to plug in the p30 ECU (B16A2), and it idle at 800 rpm. when i plug back my p73 ECU, then it idle at 1000 rpm

anyone have idea wut is going on? and how to solve the problem? or it is just normal and nothing to worry about?

thankz for reading this

have you tried adjusting the idle screw? its a slotted screw on your tb that is about flush with the surface... near the opening... dont remember exactly but you can't miss it....

oh i might try that tomorrow

but why when i plug the p30 ECU and it goes back to 800 rmp?
will this higher idle rpm problem do damage on engine? if it doesn't affect the performance or do damage on engine, i might just leave it

it's not going to mess anything up but it shouldn't be idling that high. the idle adjustment screw is there to correct idle problems. just use it. honda designed these motors to idle at certain rpm's for a reason, probably gas consumption but none the lessjust try adjusting it. is your cel on?
