Any issues w/ daily driving 1011cc's injectors?
W/ a stand-alone, are these too big to be daily driven or can you make them start, idle and etc. w/ no problems. Trying to decide if I should get these or the 758cc's.
1010cc should be fine but 1011cc i dont know....
i think even 750s might be a challenge to idle well. i said well.

hey, the 1011cc actually comes directly from the MSD catalog. So as long as you have a standalone you can make such a huge injector behave calmly at idle and start-up?
some of the people who have actually tried to tune will have to chime in here. but i think it would be pretty difficult to idle these injectors well.
what engine management system are you using? describe your turbo setup. sounds like too big an injector for a d16

i guess what you mean is that some can control the injector pulsewidth more precisely.

depending on what your trying to turn power wise, i know of people that idle 1000cc injectors only downfall is the car idled rright about 1050 1000rpm.......personally depending on your goals i used delphi 75lb injectors (they are 787cc's) and i beleive those will support well over 400whp, they might even support over 500whp......this is all on hondata though, not familiar with the zdyne
Run 8 injectors either with either an injector driver or replace the zdyne with a accel/fast type of ecu.If its a D your running edelbrock already has the manifold ready with 8 injector bosses, the Performer X.This way you could run at low speed with 450s and itll have a great idle then when it starts boosting you have 550s kick in

My Zdyne idles perfect with RC 550s,I have the idle set at 750rpm

The Zdyne will have a hard time Idling such large injectors on a small engine.
There is only so much pulse width you can pull.
The largest Injectors that I have heard being run reliably with the Zdyne was 720cc.

I'm running 960cc RC Injectors with Haltech management. It idles pretty good. The idle values are as low as they can go 1-2%.
These are good for:
450 HP @ .65 B.S.F.C.
535 HP @ .55 B.S.F.C.
585 HP @ .50 B.S.F.C.
running @ 80% duty cycle @ 43psi.

let me be the first to tell you...
1. If I can make one injector work for both my current HP set-up and for my future high hp set-up then I'll only have to purchacse once...by thinking 2 steps forward may sometimes save you money
2. My HP goals will all be tuned on 91 octane...w/ a 91 octane set-up, detonation is PARTIALLY controlled by hosing down the combustion chamber w/ gobs of fuel to ward off any pre ignition. There's guys on here that have tuned 91octane set-ups to 400hp+...how do you think they're doing it...on 270cc's...I think not...
W/ that said, I am now leaning more toward the 758cc - 880cc's...my daily driving goals might be jeopardized w/ too big an injector...but if there are others out there that have done so w/ a large injector, please chime in...

700s to 900s are the ideal injectors to buy if you have some kind of engine management such as hondata, haltech, etc., to control them. It's just a waste of money and time for 440 or 550 and later find out your whp goal is out of reach because of the injectors size.

Yup, my Precision 1000cc injectors idle just fine. 850-900rpm. aMASEing tuned.

that is good to hear. I was worrying a little about having an injector that large.
