Just curious if there is a glass moonroof that would fit in a 91 rex instead of the metal sunroof ?? Like from a civic or something.

Seen pics of custom ones before. But I know they are not from Honda's.

Fully motorized.

I didnt install the sunroof, it was done here in San Diego by a local company..

i think it's not the same size as stock because he said a local company did it so i'm guessing it's aftermarket, looks damn hot tho

From the looks of the picture it seems they used the stock cut-out and mechanisms and just extended it further back and used a premade glass panel. Then bolted it to the honda OEM rails. But I'm just guessing. I'd need to see it person to be sure

 

The sunroof is bigger than stock.. come to think of it i have never measured it.

This was a complete sunroof install on my DX with the roof being cut and the sunroof installed. Everything in the sunroof was new, the only thing I did have to buy was the SI drain tubes because the ones supplied with it were too bulky.

Yea, you can tell it is bigger, but it seems they used the original roof cut-out as a template, and then just enlarged it towards the back. there really isn't enough metal in the roof, to enlarge it any other way.
Was this an SI originally?
Or an non-sunroof model? Never mind, I see answer above. LOL

 

Nothing was used from a stock Si sunroof, everything installed in the kit was aftermarket.

Heheh Your not the only one who has thought my DX was an Si.

The only two dead giveaways that its not an Si is my seats and no SI on the rear garnish. Besides that I have switched over the door panels and also converted the engine over from Dual to MultiPoint.

Oh one last thing I recently rewired the sunroof to work off the OEM sunroof switch.
