Misguided on EF/B-Series swap
Okay, here's the burning topic and question:
I have a 90 CRX HF. I am trying to put an LS motor in it. I was told by someone that I need the PR4 ECU to get this thing running. I tried plugging it in but the plugs do not match. The harness has 2 black plugs and 1 white plug. The "holes" in the harness look like they are in a straight line like this:
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
The PR4 ECU's metal connections are kinda un-aligned like this:
_ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
Am I doing something wrong? Do I have the right ECU? Is my CRX HF equipped with the wrong harness? Please let me know...

You need the 90-91 pr4, it is pre obd. The 92-93 pr4 is obd1 and has the different plugs. I have a 91 pr4 in my 90 hf. FWIW, the ls will crank and run with the hf ecu. Don't think the hf ecu has agressive enough fuel maps to run the b18 without being really lean.
