Anyone know how to remove the A/C belt?

Default Anyone know how to remove the A/C belt?

Besides cutting it.

Try loosening the tensioner pulley.

You will also have to unbolt the supplementary mount to remove the belt.

Unfortunatly you must remove or at least loosen the lower engine mount that the belt goes around if you want to take it off. A little trick if you just trying to make some power for a track event. Take the power steering belt off. loosen the a/c belt then remove it from the crank pulley, after its loose move it over so its on the engine mount and pull it up and hook it aroung the power steering pulley, tighten it down and its out of the way.

Haha.. The more you turn your steering wheel the cooler it get... (A/C driven by Power steering pump)
