i was just wondering if there is a cat-back exhaust, if any, that will bolt up to my gsr ek with a civic catalytic converter.
like, will an si catback system bolt up?

if not, what cat size (length) will i need for a cat-back system to fit?

im wanting to get a magnaflow 2.5" catback system but im pretty sure it wont bolt up without any modification.

 

problem is... the GSR header is shorter leaving you with a short exhaust if you use a civic application. You can get a 3 inch piece of mandrel and flange it so that it bolts to the header, then either weld or flange the other end depending on how the cat is built. Most cats are flanged.

 

Like TODAeg6 mentioned, the GSR header is about 3" or so shorter. The only way a catback would fit properly is by using an ITR header since it makes the proper length to meet the cat.

ill probably just wait till i boost to do my exhaust setup...
might be a waste of money if i do it now before i boost...
