Who has successfully wired a turbo timer with factory alarm system?
Hey all,
I have a Apex turbo timer with factory alarm system. The problem is that when the timer is counting down, I cannot lock my doors with the remote clicker, and if I lock them with the key manually from the outside, the doors unlock once the turbo timer has finished counting down. Is there a wiring hack for this? Has anyone done it? I searched, but there werent many theads on this and none of them really answered the question. Thanks

You can lock the doors from the inside by manually locking the driver's door. This will also lock the passenger door automatically. Remember manually not with the power lock switch. This seems to work for me.

however this does not activate the factory alarm.
however this does not activate the factory alarm.
if you can find an output from the turbo timer that has a (-) out after shutdown it can be used to re-lock the doors and arm the factory alarm....
