Once again, time to move on, #151 will have a new owner.....
Well everyone.. Its time for me to move on to another car again. After having 3 GSRs and 2 ITR's I feel the need for something completely different, something with boost AND a full warranty... SO.... as a result....
Ed (zygspeed) is soon to be the proud ownder of completely stock and unmolested 97 #151 and I am the proud owner of (no flaming please) a brand new black 2004 SRT-4....
I test drove MANY MANY cars between $20-35k... actually was planning to purchase a 04 RX8 until I realized that it just wasnt worth the $10k more than the SRT-4. I drove the new 04 SRT-4 and boy is it extremely fast and has some amazing potential for even more serious hp than the stock 245 hp and 250 lb ft torque! And the addition of the Quaife LSD and more hp/torque in 04 pushed me over the edge to buy it. So I picked it up last night...... More driving impressions to come at a later date once I get through the motor break in period, but my initial impressions are that its VERY well put together and fast.
Simply can't beat the $$/hp ratio

Good choice and as long as you're happy, who cares what other people think.
Doubt I could go to another wrong wheel drive car again but the SRT-4 is a great bang for the buck car.

G'luck with the new toy.
Hope you plan on keeping this one for a while, it wont hold its value near as well as your previous cars.

Thanks everyeon! Trust me I wouldnt have bought the SRT-4 if I wasnt impressed with it. I cant wait to give rides and stuff! And ed and vic, you are some of the first on the "drive" list once I get over the break in period.
It really does feel nice to have a fast stock car, that is fully under a 70k mile bumber to bumper warranty... Feels secure again... hopefully I will keep this one around for longer than my previous cars, at least that is my plan.

haha, just messing with you, congrats on the new car. I think it's something in the water over here on the east coast that makes us go crazy. i've also been through two ITR's, and also gave my last one up for boooost.

excellent choice!!! i work for dodge and get to drive these everyonce in awhile......i actually got hit test driving a customer's after putting on the stage 1 kit.
that sucked. anyway you should definately look into the stage 1 and blowoff spacer plate. should be about $400 out the door for both. stage 1 is just a ecu but the dealer has to install it bc of the key's pin number and other stuff that has to be done with a scan tool.
great choice and have fun with your new car that will smoke just about everything out there.......hondas beware!
