Front speaker mounting depth on Integra?
I read somewhere that the front mounting depth for the 6.5 inch speaker is like 1 7/8, is this true? Can i fit a deeper speaker in w/o having issues, like w/ windows and stuff? Please let me know!

you can use spacers and longer screws if you wanna put some deeper speakers in the front

-Nick</TD></TR></TABLE> Ditto that, a combination of a spacer and cutting a hole, [for speaker magnet] in the back of the plastic speaker housing will allow for a 3" deep speaker to easily be installed.
However, I would replace the whole plastic speaker housing with a custom MDF speaker housing, it makes a world of diff. in SQ, especially in bass extension.

Yes steps have to be taken to prevent moisture from getting to the MDF and the speaker, not that hard to do, I "painted" my housings with fiberglass resin, they are waterproof, I also have a "drip drape" over the back of the Eclipse speakers to prevent them from getting wet, they are even older then the housings, and they also look almost new and still work very well.
I have also installed custom MDF speaker housings on many other Honda/Acura and other makes over the years and have yet to have anyone of them come back with a problem with the housings, and have reused them in cars many times when replacing speakers, have even transferred a few sets from one car to another, [same housing models].
If constructed and installed properly there are no issues, and the increase in SQ over just adding an MDF spacer to the plastic housings is well worth the effort, no matter what speakers you have and especially if you have higher quality speakers.
