I was wondering if I could fit a 22"X8"X15" slick on my gsr blades. If i cant, is there any slick that would fit?? I am thinking about getting 2 gsr blades and running those at the track. Later on I might go with the Weld Magnum's. But for now i want to go the cheap route since they are like 400 a piece.

 

We run those M/T slicks on my girl's car using the 95 GSR's..

 

the 22x8x15 should fit on the Stock rims fine. not sure about your HP but there are also teh M&H 23x7.5x15 and the 23x8.5x15

For inexpensive wheel and rim combo.. check out the Lenso VPD 13" and M&H slicks such as the 22x8x13

 

Well as of now, im running 1 bar which i estimate should have me at about 350 whp. On the street I spin like hell through 1,2, and part of 3rd with my 205/50-15 BF Goodrich G-Force Drag Radials. So next year I might run slicks and turn the boost up on race gas. I just dont got alot of money to spend on rims and slicks.

On another note. Do you guys have any problems running stock axles with slicks?? I was planning on getting DSS Stage 5 axles. But like I said before money is a little low and im sticking with the stockers for now.(Crossing fingers that they dont break)

 

I've seen people use the 22x9x13 on HP that much and work real well. or if you want bump up to some 24.5x8x13.

22x13 combo with Lensos are about $520 or so. A good investment if you are racing at the track often.

 

Although I still spin in those slicks sometimes. Other than that they work pretty well. It could be just the track here in vegas.
