jdm conversion turn signals wired up, fuse keeps blowing
ok I barely just wired up my turn signals for the jdm conversion,...
well here's how I did it,... the smaller bulb in the old signal got wired to the side marker, and worked fine,... but I used some big *** wire, it was just going to be temporary, it's about 5 times bigger than the oem wire, and I only wired it on the right side,...
now for the turn signal in the headlight, I used the wiring to the bigger bulb,... except the old one had 3 wires going into it, green, red with black stripe, and black.... The one in the headlight only has two wires, so then I figured I'd wire the red with black stripe and the black ground together, and hey it worked fine...
so I did the same with the left side turn signal, and it worked fine too, I didn't finish wiring up the left side side marker,...
SO i take it out for a drive and turn my lights on and notice that my dash lights aren't on, will it was starting to get dark I new a fuse was blow so I went to the auto parts store and bought 2 just in case, so I change it, out the new one in and dash lights still don't work, then I take it out and it blew pretty much instantly,...
so what could be the problem ? could it be that huge *** wire I used for the right side turn signal ?

problem fixed, the red and the black I wired was blowing the fuse,... so I just wired the green and the black to the bulb since it's not a double filament bulp and the red wire is not needed
