Default Moroso Oil Pump Single Stage, what happens to the stock oil pump?

Is anyone using this oil pump, Moroso part no. 25610. I was wondering what do you do with the stock oil pump? Do the pump rotors stay in the oil pump housing or do they have to be removed.

C'mon now, someone knows the answer to this. Same question applies to the Z10 pump.

are they just gears or a whole new pump? i'm guessing they're just new gears. if they are, then you just replace the stock gears with the new ones. you keep the stock oil pump housing.

It's an external pump driven by the crank pulley with a toothed belt.
