same question really interested in 9006

 

It was all made by McCulloch, but was rebadged for gourmet garage, one of their distributors. After all the ballasts and bulbs were made, McCulloch got sued because HID's were illegal to produce after a certain date, so they never put the stickers on the ballast. They are all made by McCulloch. It is a direct plug and play system with no messy wiring harnesses like others.

there have been too many complaints about blinding and such, so the government made a law saying the manufacturing of HID's will be illegal after 8/15/03. companies such as mcculloch ignored it and kept manufacturing these HID's, and now they are in trouble.

 

will you sell just the bulbs? I'd like to have an extra pair.

 

sorry, can't part with bulbs, then i would be left with just ballasts.

Do these have any type of warrenty with them?

 

sorry, i don't think these carry any warranty, since the company is no longer making HID's.

I want to buy a set what do i need for a 96 4-door civic ex with 00 si front end?

 

I also forgot to mention that vehicles which have high and low beam in one bulb, will lose the high beam function with this HID kit. It is a single beam kit, NOT bi-xenon.

yup.. i didn't even get to install the QR yet.. i got the hub/qr.. waiting on the steering wheel. then i got jacked.

 

im interested in a set, how long do you think the 9006 kits will last?
