I just used the firewall plug under the hood near the battery tray to plug mine. Throw a little silicone around the 'lip' of the plug and you should be good to go. Rear wiper delete

First and foremost it cleans up the look of the car IMO, ... and secondly, yes it does drop a couple pounds. Nothing significant, but if you remove enough small odds and ends it adds up.
I am not losing any functionality, as I never drive my car in the snow, and rarely in the rain.

LMAO, $10 for that thing is a rip off. That is an OEM firewall plug. I am sure they can be had new from the dealer for $3 or less, or perhaps even cheaper at your local autoparts/hardware store... or better yet, free from your firewall.

Honda Civic CX (a hatchback/low end model). Dealer. Yes, it does look nice and flush. If I went wingless, I'd definitely go bladeless.

As xymox said, you order it from the dealer along with a couple other parts. Civic CX's do not have a rear wiper. Hence the plug. The link posted by 00DVPGSR (http://www.sandmracing.com/rearwiperremoval.html) has the part numbers for everything you need.

Good call... I used some clear silicon sealant for patching cracks in windsheilds/weather stripping.

Exaclty. I live in AZ so it was useless for me. I used the firewall plug and made this a free DIY.
