Default OT for ITR forum but urgent: need some help guys...

Just one question and please excuse the OT post, but this is the forum at which I take advice...

Are there differences between a generation 2 (1992-1993) GS-R in Canada and the US? Thanks for any and all responses everyone BTW, I do realize that the wheels pictured are not OEM.

Here's a sample pic as a reference...

Back in the days, Honda didn't make any changes between the U.S. and Canadian models. Probably the only diff is the speedo-gauge.

Darth: I used to own a '92 GSR before the ITR. I am in the US. Anyways, there were no differences between Canadian and US '92-93 GSRs that I am aware of. There are a few possibilities to look into though:

1. In the US, the 92-93 GSR was available in Red, White, and Green. I have heard that in Canada white was not available for the GSR, but black was. I dont believe this personally.

2. I believe in Canada that DRL have been required for quite some time. Maybe the 92-93 GSR for Canada has an extra DRL relay?

Obviously, the speedo will be reversed. Other than that...great car. I definitely miss the build quality of that car compared to the 94+ Integra, which is quite shitty IMO. Oh yeah, by build quality I mean rattles, creaks, thickness of the metal, resistant to chipping/dinging, etc. Not INTERIOR quality.

Yep, I've had much experience with it. I've just never been able to find one in good condition before...

Sweet cars, those 1st gen GSR's. I located one about six months ago in PA. The car had 39k original miles, teal green, 1 owner in mint condition. The guy wanted $8500 for it. Well worth it IMO. I called him back on the car once I had the money, but it was gone.

Good luck with yours DV.

Hehe, I know...I'm awful

However, I was thinking of dropping the stock ITR cams into the B17. Anyone have any input on that idea?
