im gettin two CEL codes...code 23 which is knock ssensor and code 54 which is the CKF...i have a stock 01 gsr in 97 civic EX...used the EX wiring harness and just extended wires...

im only gettin the knock sensor CEL when i rev pretty high...im guessin probably after vtec...so im just sure whats wrong with that...maybe the timing is off? anyone else have this problem?

for the CKF...i just need the take out a wire...but cant seem to find the CKF sensor...can anyone show me a pic of where it is?

 

ckf sensor is going to be the connector coming out from the lower t-belt cover near your crank pulley, hence the name crack fluctuation sensor. you cant actually see the sensor unless you take off your crank pulley and lower t-belt cover.

 

i'm pretty sure your knock sensor probably isnt hooked up correctly (or its broken). i dont think the knock sensor CEL flashes UNTIL the ECU realizes its not there, which occurs during high revving. in other words, you won't get a code 23 at idle or at low rpm even if the knock sensor isnt hooked up.
