Other than the ballast is the any differences in the lenses? Do you guys think $635 is a good deal on a set of HID's that look new? If not, does anyone know where I can get a set of ballasts? I want to start converting my 96 spec to 98.

Also will I need additional wiring or can I use my 96 spec wiring?

There is a difference. The NON HID assemblies have horizontal lines running all the way across the lense, while the HID assemblies have a break where the projector assemblies are. I have a pic of the HID assemblies if you want to see em

The lines do run across the beam pattern on the NON-HID housings, but I also think that the reflector is different on the HID housings than on the NON. The beam pattern from the NON-HID to the HID is significantly different. With the NON-HID you can see some type of focus pattern, whereas with the HID it looks more like a consistent dispersal of light. The HID is also sharper at it's cutoff point than the NON-HID.
