Default CIVIC SI B16 AEM CAM GEARS ANY RECOMONDATIONS ON HOW TO TUNE

ok i have aem cam gears and they are just set in 0 doing absolutly nothing for me. does anyone know of a good way to tune them without having to spend the money on using a dyno?

No easy way, just use a dyno. You can try it yourself but how are you going to know if you have really made a difference?

a little overlap wouldnt hurt anything...

For na i always found that int adv 3 deg and exh ret 1 degree was good!

every motor is diffrent.
you need to get on a dyno.

Why would you spend the money on a part that REQUIRES you to get on a dyno if you don't want to spend the money on the dyno?

I will spend the money i just dont have it right now i wanted to teak it a little now if i could. believe me i want to dyno tune now i just need a few more extra play bucks so the wife dont yell.

On the left of what? The exhaust cam is at the front, on the exhaust manifold side

dude no offense but if you dont know wich is the exhaust cam i really dont think you should be adjusting it

heres a specific for you , anyone that doesnt know what overlap is shouldnt be toying around with cam gear settings.

Everybody has to start somewhere! I can imagine there was a time when you didn't know what overlap meant! Ask a simple question, get a simple answer!
