Default LS tranny top speed gearing Question

Trying to figure out what top speed an LS tranny would reach in quarter mile.
Car weight is about 2600 lbs estimate. The HP will be 520whp.
Completely stock LS gearing with spool. 25in slicks. Redline is 8500, shifting at 8000rpm .Turbo'd.
Anyone has any idea what MPH it could reach or what gearing formula I can use to figure it out.
Thanks.

Why is the redline so low?

Just trying to see what top speed would be reached with the LS tranny. I'll prolly be changing it later or the slick size. Just interested in this set up right now.

I came up with right around 150mph. Figure about a 26" tire diameter to account for tire growth...

520whp in a 2600lb car is going to go 132-134mph in the 1/4.. on a 25" slick and shifting @ 8500 rpm u should be running a GSR tranny. 134mph trap means u r going over 140 when u cross the traps. a B16a tranny would be too short w/ ur low rev limit and 25 tire. The LS tranny will be too long. You should go w/ a GSR.

I figured I would need to swap to a GSR tranny. Just wanted to kinda figure out what top speed. One for building the cage, to see what specs to follow in the rule book. I bought the LS tranny a while ago, before the HP & ET goal for the car was raised. It'll do for now for tuning and getting the launch w/the spool down until I get the $ for GSR tranny.

Great link Tony.
