i was coming to a stop from about 60 mph, and when i was at about 30-40 mph, my oil light came on... i got to the stop sign, and my car was turned off... didnt stall or anything, it just randomly turned off... yes ive got plenty of gas, my oil was fine..

 

you prob left it in gear and let off the clutch while you were in motion.

i was at 40 mph... ive stalled before.. lol.. im not that dumb.. i was in neutral on the brake... there was no jerky movement

 

My car has done that a few times...I push in the clutch, revs drop, keep on dropping, car ends up stalling. my friend's '97 GST does the same thing every once in a while. Nothing noticeable has came from this happening.

yet your oil was fine? oil pump? do you have an oil pressure gauge? not a bad way to spend $50....

def a vacum leake. check all your vacum lines to make sure they are hooked up, and another check your timing or your compression.

 

didn't think about vacuum but that would make sense...
