88-9 integra pistons in my d16z6?
My motor has 150,000 miles on it, and its time for a rebuild, i heard the 88-9 integra pistons would work good with my motor, and give me a little bit more CR, Im going to be turboing the motor soon, so i dont really need the extra CR, but im wondering if these pistons are stronger, and what the cr ratio would be with them?
they yield a 12.1 in a z6 if you have not milled the head.not good for turbocharging.i mill the dome on my pm7 .060 to reduce down 3.2cc.s.also flycut them, the valve reliefs on those pistons are not the same as on the z6 ones.now i have a 11.5 cr on my z6 good for every day driving.
dont buy those for turbo, they work good for NA though. if your gona replace the pistons and you want turbo 9:1 is where you want to be
these pistons are not stronger and your static c/r would be around 11.8:1. not good for F/I.
A cost-effective choice to run low boost (8-9) psi on the street would be to get stock c/r pistons (or a d piston option that would raise the compression closer to 10:1) and get them treated by Swaintech and Shot-peen/ cryogenically treat the rods.

i was going to build up my d16z6 and i was wondering if it would be safe to run the integra pistons on my motor? Where can i find some of those pistons and what mods do i have to do to fit them in my block? Would i be able to use a wild cam if i were to get those pistons or would i have valve to piston contact?
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!
