so this may sound weird but i got a 3" generic intake w/a hks filter. the intake tube is made of metal, but now that its winter and metal condenses in the cold weather my filter is to big for my intake. its almost half a centimeter to big for the intake now. the filter is more of a hard plastic and doesnt bend like the aem or K&n ones. so for the winter its taped on, or maybe ill dig out my old filter that came with it. just a weird story for you guys, anyone ever have a problem like this? its funny cause i opened my hood the other day to soften up my shocks and my filter was just sitting there...who knows how long it hasnt been attached, i did notice my gas milage decrease a little but didnt think anything of it, and on highways it made weird sounds. oh well.
