technical question
I was wondering if anyone can answer this for me.
Does the Main Fuel Relay power the ECU?? so .. say if there is no fuel and the main fuel relay detects it.. it won't power the ECU . correct? which means that if there is no fuel in the car SAFC/VAFC or whatever connected to the IG wire to the ECU won't power up ?

Im not positive on this but reasonably sure that the main relay and the ECU are ALWAYS hot.
The main relay simply sends it's power to the fuel pump to pressuize the system, and the PGM- FI circuts to fire the injectors at the proper time.

I think you might be right. And I was wrong.
Check a helms for confirmation
