Default obd-1 Wiring Whoes *help* ? blownhatch ?

I have an obd-1 d16z6 in my 89 crx si using blownhatch's conversion harness. I had some tach problems and have isolated the proble to my distributor, which i have replaced and still does not work. So after more trouble shooting i have come up with the following.

1. my "white" wire as denoted for the 89 si, the one that attaches to the firewall side of the igniter does not have continuity with the body ground as it should. I see in the schematics this wire goes directly to the ECU. —WHAT PIN DOES IT GO TO ON A P28 ECU?—

2. my blue wire does not have continuity with the body ground either. The schematic shows this going to the tach. —can i run a wire straight to the tach and solve this problem?—

I have been getting no where on this problem and need my car to run soon. please help if you have any input. thanks guys.

maybe i am making this more confusing that it is worth. but as i look over the pinouts nothing jumps out as definitive.

http://www.mobstyle.com/crx/ecu_pinouts2.asp has the following listed

pm6 B15 & B17 > ignition ouptut signal (to ignitor unit in distributor) connected to harness later) >> white wire

pm6 C16 > crank sensor (in distributor) >> white wire

--------------------

from a post from USDM 4G VTEC I found

pm6 /89 si ecu/
B15 > ignition control module
B17 > ignition control module

----------------------

http://www.hondaswap.com/articles/viewer.php?id=17

p28 /92-95 d16z6 ECU/

B12 > white wire > CYP Sensor Signal

--------------------

so do i just take the "white wire" from my ignitor and run a straight line to my ECU @ B12 to take it out of the equation? Why did the 89 ECU have to pins for it and now i can only find one?

a distributor has a Top Dead Center (TDC) sensor, Crank (CKP) Sensor, and Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor.

in the schematic for a 89 si distributor (thats all I have) it shows the TDC and CKP sensors are in the black shaped california looking thing on the distributor.

Does the CYP sensor infact run throught the ignitor straight back to the ECU?

I have checked my ECU in another car and it started that car jsut fine, so somehting is up with my wiring/dist/ignitor.

I think that might be your problemo...I dont think you can use the OBD0 dizzy with the OBD1 ECU. You have to source a 92-95 si/ex dizzy.
