Maybe 1" to 1.5", if you haven't bought them yet I would go with 16's.

get coilover instead of springs, so in case they scratch, raise them

It's all about the springs and shocks. Ground Control uses Eibach springs and they're pretty cheap. For under $600 you can get a set of Ground Controls and Tokico Blues. I had those on my first car and I'd say it's an excellent beginner set up. If you have a little more money and want some damper adjustability, go with the Tein SS from vtecvoodoo. He sells them for $875. I had those on my last Civic and the ride was superb.

You know what? Those are nice rims, IMHO. Just about the only Tenzos I like.
I had TenzoR Mean6 in bronze w/ a polished lip on my white previous EK.
It was the best thing I did to that car besides the turbo B18..

I wouldn't get 17s though, mang.

agreed, they are nice rims. since you did buy them already. get the coilover full set-up or springs like h&r sports and kyb agx's. it's my opinion to get the h&r sports and kyb agx's if your on a low budget. good luck on your decision.
