Tonight im driving along and my car shuts off....try to restart but it will crank for like half of a turn then stop... i get out and check under the hood....gas is comming outa the intake....white smoke outta the tailpipe...get it home and get the plugs out....theres gas flooded in all the cylinders...anyone got any ideas? ive never heard of anything like this..

 

check the seals on the injectors, possibly they cracked and are dumping fuel into the manifold? or your injectors are stuck wide open.

 

well i took out the plugs....disconnected the dizzy and cranked it over to shoot all the fuel out.... a lot of fuel was in there!!!... i reset the ecu and then put everything back together and everything "seems" fine now....im thinking maybe its the ecu? fock this is so weird...im afraid its going to happen again....

 

my guess would have been the seals on the injectors, hopefully your job did it!

 

Anyone else...i have a hard time believing injector seals...since the gas wasnt commin out nowhere near the fuel rail...

well.... rich in this case is a big stretch.

 

I feel stupid. I just posted almost the same thing 2 minutes ago.

White smoke means that coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber. You might want to look at the color of your oil too.
